PM Environmental is proud to announce the addition of Darrell DeMasters as Senior Industrial Hygienist. 

Located in Lansing, Michigan, DeMasters will perform asbestos, lead and hazardous materials inspections and surveys. He will also be responsible for abatement oversight and air monitoring. 

For over twelve years, DeMasters has been performing asbestos air monitoring, project oversight, field management and asbestos building inspection.  He has worked on projects for clients including: Ford Motor Company, Michigan State University, Central Michigan University, Demmer Corporation, Western Michigan University and Consumers Energy. 

DeMasters studied wastewater treatment plant operations at Ivy Technical Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana, as well as at California State University in Sacramento, California. He is an accredited asbestos building inspector and RPR-certified renovator. 

Previously, DeMasters managed asbestos inspection and abatement projects for companies including FTCH, TEK Environmental and Fibertec.  He also worked as Plant Manager at Earth Tech in Harland, Michigan, for over twelve years. DeMasters oversaw plant operations included MDEQ reporting, lift station operations, sewer maintenance and rehabilitation and oversight of the safety and maintenance programs.  He also worked as a wastewater plant operator in Mason, Michigan and Noblesville, Indiana.
