PM Environmental, a Pinchin company is an environmental risk expert focused on business minded solutions. Our mission is to make the complex simple, the difficult possible, and bring clarity to our clients' concerns and confidence to their decision making process.
Armed with a single truck and business cards, Peter Bosanic and Michael Kulka started PM Environmental in Lansing, Michigan in 1992. The two recent Michigan State University grads had been working as project managers at a small firm when they decided set out on their own. They began visiting small gas stations, explaining state incentives for Underground Storage Tank management and removal and offering their services. Their hard work paid off and the company steadily increased its service line, professional staff and technical equipment.

Our team of highly qualified professionals understands and manages environmental projects, building facilities and energy projects and serves banks, government agencies and numerous other businesses throughout North America.
The firm was built and continues to operate on several core fundamentals, including: integrity, safety, customer focus, technical knowledge, timely management, communication, and teamwork. We excel in these areas, enabling us to consistently coordinate and successfully complete projects for our clients.

PM opens its Oak Park, Michigan office.
2022
PM announces investment partnership with Keystone Capital Management, L.P., joining forces with Canadian-based environmental consulting services provider, Pinchin Ltd.

PM celebrates 30 years of business
1992
PM Environmental, Inc. incorporates and establishes headquarters in Lansing, Michigan.
1993
PM opens a regional office in Metro Detroit, Michigan's largest population base. The firm completes 50th assessment.
1994
PM moves their Lansing, Michigan headquarters into an office building that was formerly a mixed use office/apartment and gasoline service station. The move to this office completes PM's first "Brownfield Redevelopment" before the terminology became prevalent.
1995
PM purchases their first Geoprobe - Model 5400.
1997
PM opens a Grand Rapids, Michigan, Office.
1998
PM opens first location in the Southeast United States in Decatur/Huntsville, Alabama.
1999
PM purchases various pilot study remediation equipment from a competitor that terminated operations in Michigan. PM develops remedial division with in-house pilot study and feasibility study services.
2000
PM purchases a second Geoprobe - Model 6610DT Track Mounted.
2002
PM purchases a building in Grand Rapids to support continued growth in Western Michigan.
2003
PM purchases a third Geoprobe - Model 6610DT Track Mounted.
2004
PM receives ISO 9001 registration from AQSR.
2005
PM relocates the corporate headquarters into a 12,000 square foot facility situated on 3 acres with fenced in yard and a garage for equipment and vehicle storage.
2008
PM opens its Miami, Florida office.
2008
PM opens its Chattanooga, Tennessee office.
2008
PM purchases a Ground Penetrating Radar Unit allowing PM to perform in-house geophysical surveys.
2008
PM relocates its Metro Detroit office to Berkley, Michigan, which was a Brownfield redevelopment pursuing LEED Certification.
2009
PM opens Cookeville, Tennessee office.
2010
PM earns a spot on the respected EDR25 Index of top Phase I ESA providers.
2011
PM moves up to number 15 nationally in the 1st quarter according to the respected EDR25 Index and Scorekeeper.
2012
PM marks two decades in business by unveiling a new visual identity.
2013
PM opens its Birmingham, Alabama office.
2015
PM opens its Knoxville, Tennessee office.
PM opens its Murfreesboro, Tennessee office.
2017
PM opens its Bay City, Michigan office.
