Alan Nicholls Promoted to Manager of State Contract Services

PM Environmental (PM) is pleased to announce the promotion of Alan Nicholls to Manager of State Contract Services. Nicholls joined PM in 2017 as a Senior Project Manager.

Nicholls is a Certified Professional Geologist who has worked in the environmental industry for over 25 years. He specializes in management of Indefinite Service/Indefinite Delivery (ISID) contracts, investigation and remediation of leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites, design and implementation of remedial investigations at commercial and industrial facilities for a broad range of contaminants, and development of conceptual site models for non-aqueous phase liquids (NAPL). Nicholls obtained his B.S. in geology from Lake Superior State University.

As Manager of State Contract Services, Nicholls will focus on managing existing contracts as well as expanding upon those with PM’s major petroleum clients and the State of Michigan.

“Alan has over 10 years of experience successfully managing environmental projects through a variety of state environmental contracts that PM Environmental is an approved consultant/contractor.  I’m excited for Alan to have the opportunity to take over the program management role and look forward to working with him to grow the number of projects that PM completes under the state contracts,” said Pete Bosanic, founder and president of PM.

He has managed numerous projects and received multiple regulatory closures on sites regulated under Michigan’s Part 213 and Part 201 programs.

“PM has a long track record of providing high quality service to its government customers.  I am excited to take on this challenging new role with PM and will look for opportunities to improve our level of service and provide innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges,” said Nicholls.
